Mylie is often asked if she likes being a big sister. Usually, her lack of response is a little misleading. Sometimes, she’ll run to Nolan and lean way down over him. I’ve come to realize she’s trying to prove how much she loves him by showing just how close she can get to him. We have been so pleased by her reaction to his arrival. She has been incredibly helpful, and though she occasionally wants some more of Mommy’s attention than she gets, she has never once tried to take her frustration out on him. She loves to hold him, but just for a few minutes, and then goes on her way. She also is very protective of him when other kids get too close, and gets very worried if he goes someplace without her. And this week she has finally started saying – “I’m a good mommy.” Yes you are, little one, yes you are.

We resolved to do better on keeping our friends and family posted on the daily happenings with the ever-growing Winters Family. Because updating the website daily is a little cumbersome, we decided to incorporate a blog as well! And best of all, it’s right on our regular website, so you don’t have to learn a new website address.
