Just a little update about what in the world we're doing these days…

This Is NOT Your Father’s Oldsmobile…

…or your mother’s minivan!!! We have officially joined the ranks of many in our generation who swore up and down they would never be caught dead in a minivan, and yet are somehow elated when they get one. And not just because of the space and convenience they afford. These babies are loaded with fun features now! Back-up cameras, seats that stow and do all sorts of crazy things, XM Radio… the list goes on and on.

Our sweet little 2008 Slate Green Honda EX-L with DVD joined our family today with only 11 miles on her. She had grown to 13 by the time we brought her home. She is currently nameless, but we are welcoming suggestions. We won’t be putting up a poll on the website for this child, but you may feel free to leave your suggestions in the comments.

But please, let’s have a moment of silence for the Impala she replaced… okay that’s enough. We were all too happy to see that car hit the road. Especially when we found out at the dealership that it had been involved in a previous accident that we were never informed about when we bought it!! But all’s well that ends well, and we’re off to go watch movies and have a slumber party in the new ride!!

I am so jealous van owners. My name suggestion Gloria, as in sing praise and glory because you got a van. Or Hallie, short for Hallelujah!

Oh and loved Mylie’s dancing, she’s a super star.

Don’t you LOVE the Odyssey! I am a little jealous of your DVD player, that is the one feature we wanted but didn’t get. Welcome to the Van gang!
