On Sunday we got a call from Gallup. You know, the people in charge of doing most of the polling in the country. They requested to speak to the man of the house, as they were short on men in the poll. Nick answered a variety of questions while I listened in. It was really quite fun and interesting. But the funniest thing was, as I was listening in, I was thinking, “How funny that we were randomly selected by Gallup, when neither of us has ever even been selected for jury duty.” Well, the force must have been with me, because you’ll never guess what arrived in my mailbox the very next day? That’s right, I called up the universe and asked to have a juror summons delivered, and the universe provided. Weird.

Just a little update about what in the world we're doing these days…
I’ve been called three times, but never had to go. First time, I was living in Oregon, but moving to New York. Second time, I was living in Manhattan, but moving to Queens. Third time, I was living in Queens, but moving to New Jersey. Moving is a GREAT way to get out of jury duty. hee hee
I’ve been called a few times also but it was while I had my kiddies at home all day. I forgot the technical term but, I got out of it. I would love to do it though. If you can manage it…have fun!
